Admissions for September 2027
If you have a child in Year 6 it’s time to start thinking about applying for a secondary school place for September 2027. Our open evening for Year 6 families will take place on Thursday 17th September 2026. There will be opportunity to tour our impressive building, chat with current students, meet key staff and learn more about life at West Lakes Academy.
Key Admissions Information:
- Admissions are managed through Cumberland Council’s coordinated admissions scheme.
- Applications must be submitted using the Application Form provided by the local authority.
- The deadline for applications is the 31st October 2026.
