Admissions for September 2027
If you have a child in Year 6 it’s time to start thinking about applying for a secondary school place for September 2027. Our open evening for Year 6 families will take place on Thursday 17th September 2026, 4.30pm – 6.30pm. There will be opportunity to tour our impressive building, chat with current students, meet key staff and learn more about life at West Lakes Academy.
Key Admissions Information:
- Admissions are managed through Cumberland Council’s coordinated admissions scheme.
- West Lakes Academy Admission-Policy 2027-2028
- Applications must be submitted using the Application Form provided by the local authority.
- The deadline for applications is the 31st October 2026.
